REINFORCEMENT OF THE RESEARCH CAPACITY OF THE BULGARIAN INSTITUTE “BIOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY OF REPRODUCTION”

    •
        • Methodological training of IBIR researchers in 2D DIGE & Seminar on new technologies from GE

          Oct 11, 2010

General Electric (GE) representatives conducted a training course starting 11th until 23rd of October, 2010.

The Course was aimed to train IBIR - BAS researchers to operate the equipment purchased according to position 3, Project ReProForce: “Scanner for two-dimensional gels prepared by DIGE with possibilities for simultaneous detection of more than 2 stains and software for processing of data, obtained after scanning the DIGE gels”.

At 20.10.2010 a Seminar was organized on the problems of proteomics with the participation of experts from GE European Application Support Center (3 persons from Germany, 2 persons from Sweden, 1 person from England).

A detailed discussion was held about the applicable aspects of using the specific equipment.
