Purpose of the visit: Introduction to the methods and assisted reproductive techniques applied in the University Clinic for Reproductive Medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology.

The research program included:

• Introduction to team, problems and laboratory techniques in the department of reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology.
• Discussion of program, objectives and methods of the program

Practical training included:

• Puncture of follicles and obtaining of follicular aspirates from patients undergoing in the IVF program.
• Separation and determination of oocytes quality.
• Qualitative and quantitative analysis of sperm.
• Training of ICSI technics.
• Understanding the parameters for assessment of embryos
• Understand techniques for embryotransfer
• Separation of follicular fluid and granulosa cells from follicular aspirates. Aim of study: levels of leptin, proinflammatory cytokines (TNFα, IFNγ) Oxidative stress and antioxidant protection. Expression of leptin and leptin receptor, level of apoptosis.

Presence of surgery to treatment of endometriosis, removal an embryo after ectopic pregnancy, obtaining of sperm from testicles, after surgery.
